The rectangular moulded top above a frieze drawer transforming into a high desk enclosing a hinged green baize-lined top and an open compartment for an inkstand, above a hinged fallfront with gilt-tooled green leather-lined writing surface to the reverse, enclosing a central open and mirrored compartment, surrounded by nine variously sized drawers and two hidden compartments, flanked by caryatids, above a pair of doors
