Mostly German, mostly 18th Century
Comprising a glass engraved to the bowl with a scene of a hairdresser and inscribed 'das ist die jeste, die ich bürste.', on baluster stem and circular foot; a glass on circular foot and canted baluster stem engraved with a crowned monogram to one side and the figure of Mercury to the other, chip to foot; an armorial glass on a flaring stem enclosing a tear; and an engraved goblet engraved with a gentleman smoking a pipe and a lady, seated at a table, below the inscription 'Ey wie schöne stehn die pfeiffen wo die damen darnach greiffen', some damage
13.5-23 cm. high
Together with a glass inscribed to the funnel bowl 'A'CE QUE L'AIME', the stem with enclosed tear; a glass engraved to the bowl with stylised foliage, the stem with air-twist thread; a glass with floral engraving on a canted baluster stem; a one-handled glass inscribed 'VIVAT...'; and a small glass engraved with a band around the rim, some damage (10)
