A SILVER-MOUNTED BOHEMIAN GLASS NARGHILE

The body of spherical form rising to tubular neck, the glass faceted with a series of vertical, circular and leaf-like shapes decorated on a pink ground with blue and white enamels and enriched in gilt with a series of foliate designs, stars, dots, a bird and flags, the silver mount moulded in repoussé with vertical ribbing and topped by an openwork crown enclosing a ceramic perforated bowl, with separate pipe composed of a concertina hose and wooden terminals
