Poetry, Persian manuscript on cream paper, 323ff., each folio with 15ll. of black nasta'liq arranged in one or two columns with gold and black double intercolumnar rules, each folio with further text written diagonally around these columns, cusped cartouches containing gold floral spray in the centre and corners, text panels outlined in gold and blue, titles in red, opening bifolio with gold and polychrome illuminated headpiece and text in clouds reserved against gold, the margins with spiralling gold and polychrome floral vine, five further similarly illuminated folios throughout, page numbers added in pencil in the lower margin of each folio, in lacquer binding with gul-o-bulbul motifs, doublures with floral sprays
