drypoint, circa 1914, on Japon, signed in pencil, titled and dated Grosse Operation (1914), an impression of the sixth, final state, from the edition of forty before steelfacing (there was also an edition of sixty on laid paper, after steelfacing), published by the Marées Gesellschaft, Munich, 1919, with their blindstamp, probably the full sheet, a deckle edge at left, in very good condition
