With compressed globular body rising to a tall neck and flared rim, covered overall, and on the base, with an unctuous glaze of sea-green tone, the foot rim left unglazed exposing the buff grey ware

A very similar, though larger (15.9 cm. high), Longquan celadon zhadou, dated to the Song dynasty, was sold Sotheby's, New York, 31 March 2005, lot 33.
