Domed oval, the hinged cover and base engine-turned with concentric reeding emanating from the sides, incorporated semi-circular gold push-piece, in contemporary tan leather fitted case, marked inside cover and base
3¾ in. (96 mm.) wide
The silk lining of the cover is inscribed 'C. NICHOLLS EWING 4 Perspective de Nevsky St PETERSBOURG.'
