Rectangular box of oval section, the body with sunburst reeding emanating from the cabochon sapphire-set thumbpiece, the hinged cover centred with applied crowned diamond Imperial cypher
4¾ in. (120 mm.) wide
The cypher is that of Tsar Nicholas II of Russia (1868-1918).
