Each oviform, painted in blue and black, named for O · MandreGoræ and O · Enulatum within elongated rectangular labels below a draped putto's mask flanked by foliage scrolls and above swags of pendant leaves and fruit (repaired section to one foot, shallow chip to other foot)

Mandragora officinarum was a preparation of mandrake leaves and roots mixed with brandy or other ingredients for a variety of ailments ranging from liver disorders to wart removal, and it was also used as a cure for sterility. Enulatum was an ointment made from elecampane rhizome, oil of wormwood, turpentine and lard which was used in the treatment of skin disorders.
