These whimsical wall-lights are inspired by Pierre Delbee's celebrated 'Archimboldesque' wall-lights sold in the 'Boulle To Jansen Sale' at Christie's, London, 11-12 June 2003, lot 6. Giuseppe Arcimboldo (1527-93) is rightly celebrated for his series of anthropomorphic composite portraits made up of a variety of objects from daily life, both natural and man-made.
