The kettle pyriform, with shell and floral garland centering rococo cartouches, with bird's-head spout, the cover with artichoke finial, the overhead handle with merman, on an openwork rococo stand with scroll legs, masks at the knees and garlands between, with central burner, the kettle engraved with a coat-of-arms on each side, marked on base of kettle, cover, stand, the burner cover apparently unmarked
