On circular spreading foot and with vase-shaped baluster stem cast and chased with winged cherub masks and scrolling foliage on matted ground and with ribbon-tied foliage and berried borders, the shell with single foliate strap capped by the figure of Fortuna standing on a globe, the shell (damaged) engraved with fantastic beasts, gods, godesses, insects and birds and with foliate border the shell and foot possibly associated, the shell damaged -- 39.8 cm (15 5/8 in) high
