Poète et écrivain franco-allemand, Yvan Goll (1891-1950) se lie d'amité avec Fernand Léger dès les années 30. Témoignage de leur connivence artistique, plusieurs ouvrages d'Yvan Goll seront illustrées par Fernand Léger, comme le recueil de poèmes Les Cercles Magiques, publié en 1951.

Poet and French-German writer, Yvan Goll (1891-1950) makes friends with Fernand Lger from the 30s. Testimony of their artistic complicity, several works of Yvan Goll were illustrated by Fernand Lger, as the collection of poems The Magic Circles, published in 1951.
