Cal. 72 nickel-finished lever movement, 17 jewels, silvered matte dial, luminous square-shaped and Arabic numerals, later luminous hands, outer telemetre and tachymetre scales, three subsidiary dials for constant seconds, 30 minutes and 12 hours registers, tonneau-shaped water-resistant-type case, screw back and screw down crown, two round chronograph buttons in the band, stainless steel Rolex buckle, case, dial and movement signed

Reference 6034 was introduced into the market in the early 1950s; the majority was cased in stainless steel or 18K gold, a small series in 14K gold.
