With Rolex Garantie et Attestation de Chronomètre Officiel dated 29 September 1979, L'Heure Franco-Suisse Lyon Garantie dated the same day, fitted green presentation box and outer packaging.

The present reference 1680 is a typical representative of Rolex's late 1970s production, still featuring the matte dial without the white gold borders to the luminous numerals. Its homogenically bleached bezel now displays a rich grey tone, rendering it a very appealing look.
