FINE RED BURGUNDY INCLUDING THE 1999 VINTAGE
As mentioned in the introduction, the Burgundy part of the sale is exceptional. The first look at reds concentrates on the late 1980s and 1990s. The first lot is an indication of the quality : Rousseau Chambertin, and this is followed by rare Groffier wines from the excellent 1990 vintage. After a range of wines from 1995 and 1996, the superb 1999s begin: more Rousseau Chambertin and rare Bonnes Mares from Roumier following by a range of grand and premier crus from this exceptional vintage.
