Spittoons of this style were also copied at the imperial porcelain kilns in the Qianlong reign. A circular lidded spittoon decorated in cloisonné style with similar floral designs on a turquoise ground, and with a removable funnel-shaped interior fitting, similar to the gilded fitting of the current metal vessel, is preserved in the collection of the Palace Museum, Beijing (illustrated in Guan yang yu ci, Forbidden City Publishing House, Beijing, 2007, p. 281).
