The complete version of Blaeu's atlas of Eastern Europe and Greece comprises maps of European Russia, with a city map of Moscow and a plan of the Kremlin; Poland, including Prussia; South Eastern Europe including the Crimean peninsula; and Greece. Soon after this volume was first published in 1659 the title of Blaeu's work was changed from Nuevo Atlas to Atlas Mayor, the standard title from 1662 onwards. Nearly all the maps for volume II were lost in the fire that destroyed Blaeu's workshop in 1672.
