Two yellow-glazed Xuande-marked dishes of very similar size (13 and 12.1 cm. respectively) and shape were included in the exhibition, Monochrome Porcelain of the Ming and Manchu Dynasties, Oriental Ceramic Society, London, 1948, no. 176, from the Herrmann Collection and no. 180, from the Clark Collection. A dish with rounded sides and an incised Xuande mark, but of larger size (18.1 cm.) and without a flaring rim from the National Palace Museum, Taiwan, is illustrated in Monochrome Ware of the Ming Dynasty, Book I, col. pls. 15, 15a.
