This highly decorative tazza can be related to a Rosso Levanto tazza sold from the Axel Vervoordt collection, Christie's house sale, Kasteel van's-Gravenwezel, Antwerp, 10-12 May 2004, lot 113 (EUR17,925 with premium), and to a further related example sold anonymously, more recently, Christie's, London, 10 July 2008, lot 129 (£18,750 with premium).
