SIGNED MIR 'ALI, SAFAVID IRAN, FIRST HALF 16TH CENTURY
Persian manuscript on blue paper, 4ll. of red nasta'liq in two panels on deep blue ground with gold floral sprays, the diagonal panel with two verses flanked by two triangular panels, one of them with the signature Mir 'Ali al-Harawi on cloud bands reserved on gold and polychrome illumination, within black rules and gold and polychrome frame, laid down on card, slight rubbing and scuffing, the reverse with calligraphic quatrain in black nasta'liq on brown paper with light gold floral vines
