A CARVED OVAL ONYX CAMEO BUST OF A WOMAN
16TH CENTURY
Bare-breasted, with elaborate coiffure and diadem, holding a fluted bowl of fruit, facing front and turned slightly to the right; in an oblong gold mount; applied to an oval grey agate ground within a later silver-gilt oval frame with suspension loop
