This blade has a very thin cutting edge which is worn, indicating that it could have actually been used in a ritual for cutting. A very similar knife is in the Winthrop Collection, illustrated by Loehr in Ancient Chinese Jades, Harvard University, Massachusetts, 1975, no. 211, p. 165.
