Decorated in the Seuter workshop with figures, birds and animals at various pursuits either side of a bridge between gilt borders edged with scroll and dot ornament, the domed cover with three vignettes of figures, the hinged mount engraved with flower, scroll and stiff-leaf ornament and with a bifurcated scroll thumbpiece, some rubbing to gilding, cover with extensive wear to vignettes
