The case with moulded lunette arch above the pair of brass register plates engraved for summer and winter with engraved floral decoration and wheat ear borders, the right plate with sliding vernier, the trunk with mouldings to the sides terminating with a later cover to enclosed cistern and brass adjustment screw below; restorations, tube replaced, mercury removed
