This drawing is probably from one of a series illustrating the Bible; a drawing in Bremen numbered in a similar fashion is from the Till Uilenspiegel series, M. Plomp, Leonaert Bramer 1596-1674, Ingenious Painter and Draughtsman in Rome and Delft, Drawings, exhib. cat., Waanders Uitgevers, Zwolle and elsewhere, 1994, no. 18, p. 231, illustrated.
