The original, signed and dated 1656, was with R. Schreuder, Aerdenhout, 1990 (exhibited at the European Fine Art Fair, Maastricht, 1990, illustrated in the catalogue, p.124). The present lot differs in a few details, most notably in the document attached to the chimney.
