Bel aspect. Niveaux: onze à la base du goulot et une haut de l'épaule
Good appearance. Levels: eleven base of neck and one top-shoulder
Note de dégustation: Son bouquet qui s'ouvre progressivement, épicé; riche, parfum de roussi. Toujours jeune d'apparence, avec un nez riche, grillé qui me rappelle un thé chaud, puis après une heure 'des biscuits trempés'. Palais riche en fruit, parfum délicieux, facile à boire, très riche mais une légère amertume en fin de bouche. Juin 1998 ***(*) M.B.
Tasting Note: The bouquet by now opened up and spicy; rich, singed flavour. Yet still youthful looking, with a rich, toasty nose which then reminded me of a warm tea and, after an hour, 'sodden wholemeal biscuits'. Palate full of fruit, delicious flavour, easy to drink, very rich but a slightly bitter on the finish. June 1998 ***(*) 2008-2020 M.B.
