In terms of subject matter, this small engraving is related to the The Lady on Horseback and the Lansquenet (lot 9) and the so-called Little Courier (lot 10). In character however, he seems closer to Apollo and Diana (lot 58) than to his fellow lansquenets, and Matthias Mende has referred to it as a 'Germanicised' Belvedere Apollo, a classical nude in German clothes.
