From the series Fuzoku shiki kasen [Popular Poets of the Four Seasons], standing within the open shoji of a house, a girl looks down on her young lover who is kneeling on the engawa with his back to her, a persimmon tree full of fruit can be seen behind the corner post, the poem above in the stylised cloud is entitled Risshun [Spring] and reads

'Spring comes softly through the open door of Heaven'
