"Advanced secondary notes of spice, mature burg aromas and hints of leather and tea introduce rich, pretty, thoroughly delicious, velvety, round flavors underpinned by plenty of ripe tannins on the long, intense finish. This is a fine effort and while the tannins suggest that this could evolve further, I doubt the fruit will hang in there long enough for this to ever completely harmonize. That said, this is completely enjoyable now and I would be drinking it over the next few years. Consistent notes." BH, Apr. 2, 2006
