After the original by Friedrich Elias Meyer, wearing a conical feathered hat, a yellow-lined purple robe tied with a red and gilt tasseled sash, striped under-garments with gilt flowerheads and puce shoes, a draw-string bag at his side, playing gilt cymbols and standing on a square plinth base with gilt panels (shallow chip to corner of base at back, tip of hat repaired)
