Painted by J.E. Stadler, the recessed panels with a continuous scene divided by the ribbed angles, one side with an Oriental holding a parasol and standing before a fence pointing towards a flowering peony and chrysanthemum plant branching continuously across four sides, and with a bird in flight, the cylindrical cover with a flower and edged with a band of diaper pattern and half-flowerheads
