The Villa Savoia was a private residence and country estate used by the Italian Royal family in Rome. It was built by the Pallavincini family in the late 18th century and was acquired by Vittorio Emanuele II, King of Italy, (1820-1878) in 1872. Today, part of the estate is a public park.
