TWO INDIAN INSCRIBED TALISMANIC JADE PENDANTS
EACH CIRCA 17TH CENTURY
One, a panel of cusped octafoil form strung for suspension above, one side carved with a central roundel containing a nasta'liq inscription, the reverse with a geometric rosette; the other an oval jade panel with central inset red cornelian inscribed with four lines of very fine nasta'liq, the sides with different colour corundum or agates forming leaf designs, probably originally with suspension loops at each end
