As Slatkes has pointed out (Pelletier a.o., op.cit., p. 73), a picture with small differences, in the same sense, formerly in the Cook Collection, Richmond, England, was sold through Charpentier, Paris, 1950, lot 50, and later with Katz in The Hague, 1950, illustrated (Hofstede de Groot 311). A version is in the Collection of Mrs. George S. Holms, Charleston, South Carolina, USA. Both Schnackenburg and Slatkes date this plate to circa 1660-70.
