the compressed globular body rising to a waisted neck applied with two moulded elephant-head handles and surmounted by a pierced oval domed cover, supported on a splayed foot, painted with the Eight Immortals with their respective attributes and attendants in a fenced garden, below the neck with a demon standing on cloud scrolls and an immortal riding a phoenix, the cover with bats amidst cloud scrolls on the top and a key-fret border on the sides, wood stand -- 19¾in. (50.1cm.) high.
