This work is recorded in Schelfhout's 'Liber Veritatis' or book of truth now in the Rijksprentenkabinet, Amsterdam. In this volume the artist recorded drawings of all his paintings that were executed between 1825 and 1828, often noting the year of production and the name of the purchaser
