Of amphora form, the square wood base on four paw and foliate scroll bracket feet, with entrelac chased and engraved mount, the circular spreading stand with a band of stiff-leaf decoration and gadrooned collar to the stem, the wood body encased in stiff-leaf and berry calyx, with two brackets rising to pine-cone finials and attached by ribbon-bow and laurel garland handles, with a band chased and engraved with lotus and husk pattern around the shoulders and suspending ribbon- tied laurel swags and festoons, with similar lower rim to the fluted socket, with gadrooned lip, marked on base, lower and upper mounts, with later lamp-shade fittings
