"Stunt" props are generally not quite as finely detailed, and are made of slightly softer materials for use in fight scenes or whenever stunt work is required, to reduce the chance of injury to the cast. Still, skillful casting and painting by prop makers often yield finished props that are remarkably similar in visual quality to their "hero" brethren.
