The rounded rectangular laburnum-crossbanded green leather-lined top above a pair of mahogany-lined drawers on the front and a pair of conforming simulated drawers on the reverse, on downswept legs filled with spindles, brass caps and castors, the top with blocked construction, the handles replaced

This table pattern was probably invented by Gillows of London and Lancaster. However, the unusual use of yew veneer and solid yew-wood suggests 'country' cabinet-making.
