With foliate moulded edge above a plain frieze, supported by acanthus wrapped scrolling legs on lion paw feet, the other side with column supports at either end headed by Ionic capitals and decorated with trailing foliage, on a base decorated with a foliate band

The bench is designed in the George IV antique or Grecian fashion with its laurel-wreathed and plinth-supported trestles richly carved with bacchic acanthus-wrapped and paw-footed 'sarcophagus' trusses on one side and flower-festooned Grecian Ionic pilasters on the other.
