For several extemely similar commodini see M. Giarrizzo and A. Rotolo, Il mobile siciliano dal Barocco al Liberty, Palermo, 2004, pp. 55-56 and 58. The present commodini share many of the characteristics of the illustrated commodini such as the same distinctive swelling shape and cabriole legs, the marble tops set within and flush with the moldings, vigorously contrasting geometric veneers and use of circular patterns and the openwork brass mounts.
