An unusual native doll
with hand stitched face on silk, the body made from ribbon wrapped around a wire frame, wearing silk cap and loin cloth with remains of beading --6in. (15cm.) high; and a simlar woman with brown stitched hair short bead trimmed skirt and metal pin with paper label 'Emilie' and a pig suspended beneath, circa 1900 (discoloured and some wear); in a velvet covered box with printed picture of a lady on the lid (2)
