Mid-20th century, constructed using the central section of an early 19th Century table
Comprising two D-ends, a central gateleg section and two extra leaves, with a silver presentation plaque 'Presented to Her Royal Highness The Princess Margaret on the occasion of her marriage to Mr Armstrong-Jones by members of the Army, 6 May 1960', with a later paper property label for Princess Margaret
28½ in. (72 cm.) high; 129 in. (328 cm.) fully extended; 62 in. (158 cm.) deep

Given to H.R.H The Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon on the occasion of her marriage to Antony Charles Robert Armstrong-Jones, Earl of Snowdon, on 6 May 1960, by the Major-General Sir Hugh Stockwell, G.C.B., K.B.E., D.S.O., A.D.C., on behalf of the Army Council.

Placed in the Dining Room of the Private Apartment of H.R.H. The Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon at Kensington Palace.
