Contemporary speckled calf gilt, spine gilt in compartments with red morocco lettering piece, speckled edges (front pastedown torn, upper hinges split, lettering-piece frayed, extremities rubbed). Provenance: W. Massingberd (signature on front endpaper) -- remains of bookplate on rear pastedown.
