SONG/MING DYNASTY, 12TH-17TH CENTURY
Decorated in the archaic style with taotie masks on the sides between bands of confronted birds on the waisted neck and spreading foot, with a pair of tabbed loop handles surmounted by animal masks, all inlaid in gold and silver sheet and wire and with simulated malachite and earth encrustation
