"The expressive nose is now a mix of primary and secondary aromas with medium weight though beautifully focused flavors underpinned by round and soft tannins, all wrapped in a nicely spicy finish. There is noticeable oak char but otherwise, this is classy and quite long if not especially dense. As with the '93 Clos de Beze, I've experienced some bottle variation with this wine." BH
