Cossart & Gordon. Metal capsules. Slightly bin-soiled labels
Tasting Note: Two notes, first at a pre-sale tasting in 1994: medium amber; the much-liked 'cognac and crystallised violets', the latter I am now putting down to the effect of impregnated American old oak. I might be wrong. Dry, as Sercial should be, firm, fine, perfect. More recently; a sweet, more singed and meaty nose; sweeter on palate too, but lovely flavour, good length and acidity...At best ***** M.B.
