the head turned slightly to the left, with muscle modelling at the nape, fixed bright blue eyes, inset long strawberry blonde hair, centre parting, stuffed body, wax limbs attached through metal eyelets, original white cotton tucked frock, underclothes, bronze kid boot, blue and white check silk shawl and pink silk wired bonnet trimmed with artificial flowers - 20½in. 52cm. high, mid 19th century, with hand-written note on the doll, Edith June 1849 and another attached to the bonnet, The bonnet was made by a French Milliner in Bond Street about the year 1850
